Substantial ‘wrap around’ extension to a private house in Clapham.
In order to maximise the development possible under Permitted Development, accurate volume models of the existing house were prepared and used to calculate the maximum allowable volume without having to apply for planning approval.
The structural works were significant and involved the complete removal of all existing ground floor load bearing elements.
The works were completed in September 2004, on time and on budget.
